Pattan : A 10 class holder pretended to be a doctor was arrested by police on Saturday in Mangam Village of Kreeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official told that the accused identified as Hilal Ahmad Hajam S/O Mohd Ramzan Hajam a resident of Kreeri, had been practicing as a doctor in a private clinic at Mangam area without holding any medical degree.
“Claiming himself as a doctor, minting money from the poor people of the area from past many years, and today we arrested him from his clinic at Mangam Kreeri and has been booked under the relevant sections of the law.” he added.
Meanwhile a case under section- 77/2020 420 under section 419 (cheating), 468 (forgery of document) and 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), has been registered in police Station Kreeri.
