Paper Scheduled for today Shall Stand as per schedule, Joint secretary, JKBOSE

Kupwara: The 11th Class Students have demanded to Postpone the paper which is scheduled to be held today due to inclement weather.
Scores of students told this new paper,Inside Kashmir,due to heavy snow fall from last one day,”our paper which is scheduled to be held today should be postponed till weather improves”,
A group of students of 11th Class from Machil Kupwara which is about 75 Kms away from it’s district headquarter Kupwara have also demanded to postpone the todays paper.
Students of the area told over phone that “Due to Heavy Snowfall here in the Machil Area,we have not sufficient transport facility so we can reach examination centre on time today.We request the Board authorities to postpone today’s paper till weather improves”,
One of the student told that “Our examination centres are very far from our area and we have to go 15 Kilometres by foot so we can reach the examination centre and it’s very difficult to walk by foot and to reach well on time.Our roads have not been cleared yet so transport can ply today and we believe that snow clearance here in our area will take weeks “, adding ” It’s about 03feet snow here in my area”, Sajad Ahmad;A 11th Class Student from Arts Stream, told inside Kashmir on phone.
“How we can reach examination centre when our roads are covered with snow and have not transport facility available here in this chilly and bone harsh winter.It would be better if board authorities cancels today’s paper”, A girl of 11th Class from Medical Stream told inside Kashmir,
“We are from a far flung area of Baramulla and it’s very difficult to reach to the exam center today”, adding “Our paper should be postponed till weather improves”, A 11th girl from Baramulla told this newspaper,
When Inside Kashmir approached Chairperson Board of school education Kashmir Veena Pandita for the comment,She didn’t bother to answer our repeated calls.
Meanwhile, Joint secretary,JKBOSE when contacted said “the paper which is scheduled for today shall stand as per the schedule”(IK)
