Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday announced that 16 Haj Houses across the country were turned into quarantine centres for coronavirus patients. The total number of coronavirus cases in India rose to 2,069, while the death toll in the country reached 53. The confirmed cases comprise 2,014 Indian nationals and 55 foreign nationals.
