Kupwara:- A  plantation programme was organized at Higher Secondary School Nagri Halmatpora by the DFO Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara Syed Abid Nazir, as a part of the ongoing plantation drive for plantation in North Kashmir.


Mehrajudin, Principal Govt Boys Hr. Sec Nagri Malpora , Dy.CEO Farooq Ahmad Malik, Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh Assistant Director FPF Kupwara, Ab Rashid Lone Lecturer, Mudasir Ahmad PET, & Range Officer HQR Wali Mohd Khan also planted comfier plants at Higher Secondary School Nagri Halmatpora Kupwara on the  Plantation Drive which was launched yesterday.

DFO Kamraj Syed Abid Nazir Shah said, that such plantation drives will be carried out in all institutions in the coming days under the institutional plantation programme. 
While talking with DFO Kamraj  he said, ” That Kamraj Forest Division has a target to plant 50000 plants this year and as a part of plantation drive 300 plants will be planted at Higher Secondary School Nagri Halmatpora Kupwara, in  the watch and ward of these plants can be ensured and the departments who perform well in plantation and watch and ward of plants will be rewarded by the Forest Department”.

Abid advised school students to contribute at their level and at least plant one plant im life and save the ozone layer and prevent Global warming.
200 Students of Higher Secondary School Nagri Halmatpora Kupwara also planted conifer plants on the plantation drive.
This plantation drive will be continued till 31st March.
