COVID update
35 travellers tested positive today, all under quarantine for 14 days. This is the same group arguing constantly with Administration to be released for home quarantine being asymptomatic. Once again, the need for mandatory testing for all returnees is underlined, in the interest of community at large.
With this 62 of Kupwara returnees have tested positive over the last week and number of Active cases jumps to 95. As such, strict lockdown restrictions shall continue in the district and public is appealed to stay indoors to the extent possible and let us all pray for health and happiness of all mankind this Eid.
