Amid COVID-19 pandemic, PMGSY has done remarkable work in district Ganderbal.
By the end of June 2020, 52 habitations stand connected against the
sanctioned programme of 57 habitations.
Moreover, 70 works stand
completed against the sanctioned programme of 107 works under PMGSY- I.
Many schemes are currently in progress under PMGSY in District
Ganderbal which include Stage I (Fair Weather), Stage II (Black Top) and
Up-gradation of existing roads, besides bridges.
Three upgradation schemes are sanctioned under PMGSY – II in
District Ganderbal for which allotments have been issued in this week.
The department has also started work on up-gradation schemes
sanctioned under PMGSY-II besides, different developmental works are in progress in District.
The department is focused to complete the works targeted for
completion during current financial year for which department has taken stringent steps for achieving targets.
Further, quality control tests are being done to ensure adherence to guidelines of PMGSY.
