The Indian Council of Medical Research has said that as many as 7,900 tests for coronavirus were conducted in India on Thursday. ICMR’s Dr Raman Gangakhedkar had on Wednesday said that 4,562 tests were done in ICMR labs and 816 in private labs on Tuesday. As of Wednesday, the capacity utilisation of ICMR labs was 38%.
