DODA: Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta (KAS) through an official order directing subordinate officers to started an initiative namely “Aao School Chalein” regarding enhancement of enrollment in government schools. The same order was endorced by Chief Education Officer Doda. Implementation of the order is started by Zonal Education Officer Assar Sh. H L Sawhney. ZEO Assar started the action in letter and spirit. On the first day of the programme first school who has started the campaign by implementing the order of superior officer Govt Middle School Kanthi Mangota Zone Assar, in which Shamim Ahmed Wani along with the school staff invited parents of the students, Asha Workers, Anganwadi Workers and other prominent citizens of the locality along with students.
Mr Wani on the occasion briefed all the presentees about the different schemes for school students studying in Govt Schools.
On the occasion Mr Wani said that Government has launched various schemes in which on the priority it is free and compulsory education for all, Free Textbooks upto class, Free School Bags, Free uniforms, Digital online Classes, Free Mid day Meal up to class 8th and pre and post matric scholarships.
It is worth while to mention here that government schools have well qualified staff, subject experts who can give your children all round knowledge and development of mind.
On the occasion Shamim Wani requested people parents and presentees to get thier children admitted in government schools to get quality education. He also requested the Anganwadi Workers and Asha Workers for thier cooperate to achieve 100% result in the mission.
We will try to follow all the instructions which will be issued by higher ups time to time in regard to promote quality education in our society through government schools, He further said.
