Amidst Lockdown, Traffic Jam Witnessed At Sangrama Junction, Sopore Police Swung Into Action

Sopore: In view of the rising number of covid positive cases, administration in Jammu and Kashmir days before had imposed Corona-Curfew to contain the spread of this virus.

An eyewitness told huge traffic jam was witnessed at Sangrama junction on Tuesday.

He said, traffic coming from Srinagar and Baramulla was stopped at Sangrama checkpoint which was established by Sopore police in view of the lockdown.

Meanwhile, Station House Officer (SHO) Tarzoo Bilal Ahmed Khanday said, Sopore being a center of North Kashmir that’s why traffic is being witnessed but Sopore police are trying its best to regulate the traffic.

Anyone without a pass won’t be allowed, Officer said, adding people are requested to be indoors to contain the spread of the virus.
