Sopore: A 21-year old youth Aamir Hassan Mir, a BSc Nursing final year student of Bomai, Sopore had died under mysterious circumstances in Chandigarh college on the 25th of June while his family alleges that their son was ‘murdered’.
Family members while talking with the IK correspondent, Waris Fayaz, said that, they are suspecting it to be ‘murder’ as two persons who have left college two years back, were present during the incident.
“Aamir called us at 10:00 pm and after two hours we received a call from his friend that Aamir has been rushed to a nearby hospital as he had fallen unconscious, however, after some time friend of Amir called again and said ‘ Aamir is no more”, said family members.
The body was taken for post mortem and for other legal formalities, officials said, adding that the body was later handed over to legal heirs.
Meanwhile, police official when contacted told, that we are in touch with Chandigarh police regarding the incident.
