Bandipora 10 April :
In efforts to limit the outbreak of COVID-19 and to ensure health- safety of public, Bandipora police today arrested more than 50 persons in different jurisdictional police stations and seized 06 vehicles who were found plying unnecessarily with out valid passes.Five Case FIR’S were registered under relevant sections of law.
Police teams during routine patrolling to enforce lockdown restrictions aimed COVID-19 outbreak apprehended these persons who had assembled unlawfully breaching the prohibitory orders of district Magistrate Bandipora.
Bandipora police is again appealing people not to venture out from their houses unnecessarily otherwise strict legal action will be taken against people who risk the lives of others by violating restriction orders besides cooperate with the Police & civil administration by ensuring adherence to restrictions imposed.
