In an instant response to the press release of Sheikh Ghulam Ahmad Saloora, district administration has ordered complete ban on any attempt of bath in Nallah Sindh.
Social activist and political leader of Ganderbal, Sheikh G.A Saloora had expressed anguish over the loss of precious lives in Nallah Sindh due to drowning and had appealed Advisor to LG, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, District Development Commissioner and SSP Ganderbal this morning.
Saloora has requested administration for the ban on bathing in Nallah Sindh.
Just a few hours later administration ordered ban on bath in Nallah Sindh from Wayil to Sonamarg.
SSP Ganderbal while showing their serious Concern directed his police officers and all SHOs to take cognizance of any sort of negligence or dishonour of the govt order.
Pertinently, many youths drowned and died in Nallah Sindh while bathing and taking serious note of this ill practice, Sheikh Saloora raised voice and requested administration to ban the same with immediate order.
The order came and all concerned Tehsildars and SHOs are directed to take strict action against the violaters.
Saloora thanked DC and SSP Ganderbal for their concern and said that the district is in the hands of efficient hands where public safety and peace is the first priority.
