Urges people to stay at home

Kupwara : Chairman MC Kupwara Reyaz Ahmad Mir along with Executive Municipal Committee Officer and Councillors held fumigation across various areas of Kupwara Town.
Following outbreak of Covid-19 and the rise in positive cases of novel corona in UT of J and K, Kupwara Municipal Committee held special sanitation drive in the town wherein free Sanitisers were distributed by the President Municipal Committee Kupwara, Reyaz Ahmad Mir along with the councillors
The drive was run jointly by the sanitation wing and enforcement wing of the MCK in various wards of Kupwara Town under the supervision of President Municipal Committee Kupwara Reyaz Ahmad Mir.
During the drive, Chairman briefed awareness regarding the Covid-19 and how to stop it’s human to human transmission.
All the residents were advised to keep their surroundings neat and clean and to dump garbage at the authorized place or to deposit waste with the door-to-door collectors.
