Handwra: In a rare show of self service, volunteers in Maidan Chogal, Handwara lead a drive to clean the surroundings of the village.
A committee of 20 young volunteers headed by Manzoor Ahmad Khan, is also maintaining a school park and has placed dustibins at several corners of the village.
The committee, in order to beautify surroundings of the area, is planning to paint walls of the village.
