Amid Covid 19 Surge,the Commisioner secretary of Higher education department, Talat Parvaiz on Sunday made a maiden visit to different colleges of kupwara district to review the situation in colleges.
According to our reporter’s,In his maiden visit Talat Parvaiz visited to GDC Sogam Lolab area of North Kashmiri’s Kupwara district, where he interected with the college management to examine the prevailing condition of college.”Amid covid 19 pendamic” we have to assure not to stop the class work over pendamic,we need to set a plan to continue the class work” Talat Parvaiz said.”He also appraised to the management of the college for developing the College whole heartedly”.The new campus of the said college was started two years back.He assure that the pending projects will be completed very soon.
He was accompanied by Director Finance HED, Abdul Majeed; Nodal Principal Kashmir, Yasmeen Ashaie; Assistant Director Planning, Fayaz Ahmad; Engineering Team of RUSA and other concerned officers of Higher Education Department.
Getting to know about students study he give some Fruitful statements to Principal GDC sogam and told him that we have to live with covid and this is pandemic and it will take time to get down.Due to covid we can’t put down students career and we have take some alternate steps in this regard”.He also directed to Principal GDC sogam to make such great arrangements to take students class on routine basis and put them a platform as they can take precaution measures.
He also interacts with different professor’s in the college on the occasion to get their feedback over their respective subject’s.
The Commissioner Secretary also interacted with some students who put forth demand for establishment of an auditorium, play ground, cafeteria and internet facilities in the college.
In addition of that the President of Lolab youth Organization Mr Er Mudasir Ah demanded the BCA and BBA subjects to be started in college and hostel and library shall be established in the college so that the students will not have to suffer any more.
While interacts with media,the president of Lolab Youth Organisation Er Mudasir Ah said that “its my basic aim to made my work great in every aspect of Life and I and my LYO committee is trying to reach out to every corner of the valley.I’vemade this organisation to serve people”.
At the end commissioner Secretary Higher Education Talat parvaiz assured the management that all problems will be resolved very soon.
