In a new development, Reports of corona positive cases have emerged from Kupwara. Officials have confirmed about 06 individuals who were in different quarantine centres have been tested positive.
Before such report, Kupwara had not received any positive case . The report which was confirmed by Administration , identified three particular places where victims belong are, Hirri , Magam and chogal .
” 4 out of 6 persons were sent to quarantine at ITI Handwara directly since their return from Delhi while 1 person from Tangdhar was under quarantine at Tangdhar itself.
The 6th person has been learnt to have quarantined in Bandipora since his return from Delhi and has not visited Kupwara”, said DC Kupwara in a WhatsApp conversation.
Meanwhile the administration is on war footing to identify persons who have been in contact with infected individuals.
