Basic Essential food items not available in Keran , allege Locals .

Amid nation wide Coronavirus Lockdown , Goverment in Kashmir has impressed upon District administrations to maintain food supply chain , but situation in Keran is worse than ever . Locals allege that food items like vegetables , fruits , flour and suger are running out of stock ,which is adding to the miseries of this areas, near to LOC .
Keran is Landlocked area , a single interruption of food supply can force residents of this areas to kneel down to the ground .
A group of local residents told inside kashmir over phone that , they use suger and flour as a basic food item of daily intake . BDC Chairman and Many sarpanchs had sent message through communication lines of Police to Administration for ensuring food supply without interruption ,but no feedback as of now they have received . In this pandemic ,’ instead of Coronavirus , Hunger will Kill us ‘.
Tassadu Hussain , who was part of this group said ,” People usually use different verities of food items in the month of Ramadan , we just want basic food items so that our people won’t suffer from hunger . Either let us allow to purchase food commodities from Kupwara market or send us food supply.”
The locals also requested District administration to release material payment of MGNREGA as it will help people to advance domestic financial stability .
