COVID-19: Lockdown continues across district Baramulla,

Sopore police once again appeal people to cooperate with administration

Sopore, 14 April : Amid coronavirus scare and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 restrictions in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district continued on 25th straight day following strict action against lockdown violaters.

Security forces sealed off several roads and erected barriers across the district to ensure the lockdown. Police vehicles continuously announcing the imposition of restrictions under section 144 of CrPC across the district and advising people to cooperate with administration and stay indoors.

Meanwhile a complete lockdown has been witnesses also in sub division Sopore including Rafiabad and Zaingeer belts.

In Sopore town all entry and exit points were sealed by security forces and erected barriers, wires to enforce the lockdown. However all shops, other business establishments remain complete shut exempted medical shops, while as transport was completely off the roads.

Moreover Sopore police on Saturday once again appeal general public to cooperate with Administration and stay indoors to remain safe from this deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).

It’s pertinent to mention Baramulla district has 40 positive cases with one death till now.
