Sopore, 30 April : Acting tough against lockdown violaters Police in Northern Sopore town of Baramulla district seized fifteen vehicles for defying government orders.
In a bid to discourage those who violate government prohibitory orders Sopore police in North Kashmir swung into action and seized atleast fifteen vehicles.
Police official told Inside Kashmir, Amid lockdown some vehicular movement was witnessed in the town and after that a Naka headed by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sopore, Sh Javaid Iqbal (KPS) was laid and number of vehicles were intercepted.
Official further added, these surprise checking points shall be laid on regular basis to tackle with lockdown violaters.
Meanwhile Police in Sopore town once again appeal general public to cooperate with Administration and stay indoors to remain safe from this deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).
