Kupwara: Army in its constant endeavor to reach out to its veterans and their dependents- extended its support and carried out a Vaccination Drive for the general Public in Rangwar & Badi Bhaik Village, Chowkibal
“In combating the deadly Coronavirus, the vaccine is a potent weapon and presently all adults above 18 years must get vaccinated to ward off the virus effectively”, said an army Doctor while leading the vaccination drive.
According to this Reporter, 168 Military Hospital and SDH Kupwara in collaboration with Thunderbolt Gunners intensively collected and analyzed the data of eligible people for over a week and reached out to them both via telephone and door to door to spread awareness among the general public about vaccination process. Almost 113 people turned out for the drive which comprised 72 Male and 41 Females.
Along with the Vaccination drive, a medical camp was also organized for the local public. The Army and its allies in this special drive distributed free medicines; cases of major ailments were noted for consultancy in the future by the doctors.
Sarpanch Chowkibal and the local public expressed gratitude to VAJR DIVISION and the team of Doctors affiliated with 168 Military Hospital and SDH Kupwara for reaching out to the public in frontier areas.
