Sopore: Attendants of covid positive patients at Sub District Hospital Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district alleges doctors’ negligence in covid wards.
They alleged that Corona-positive patients at this hospital are left on God’s mercy as none of the doctors visit the wards to enquire about the health conditions of these patients.
Talking with the Correspondent, attendants said, not a single doctor had visited in last 24 hours to enquire about the health conditions of the patients, even some of the patients had developed a dip in oxygen level.
Doctors had made a roster type system here and are giving medicine on phone instead of visiting the patients, said an attendant.
“It’s unfortunate that BMO had only visited once in last 10 days to inspect the scenario in wards that too after the post went viral on social media platforms”, he added.
Meanwhile Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sopore, Dr. Zulfiqar refutes the allegations leveled by the attendants. Adding that a technical snag was developed in a newly installed oxygen plant but was later on restored.
