Rajouri,July,13:The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,Mohammad Nazir Sheikh on Monday chaired a meeting of the nodal officers of Covid Care Centres to review the arrangements being put in place for the convenience of the asymptomatic COVID19 patients brought in these centres.
While speaking during the meeting the Deputy Commissioner said that COVID19 pandemic is a serious threat to mankind which has consumed millions of lives in the world and the need of the hour is to show positive approach and make concerted efforts to contain the spread of CoronaVirus in the district to ensure the safety of the general public.
He added that the COVID Care Centres are the makeshift facilities which are being set up to ensure effective management of COVID19 pandemic in the district and directed the concerned officers to put in place all the logistic arrangements in terms of uninterrupted water,power supply,food and other essentials for the convenience of the persons to be brought in this centres so that they don’t face any problem during their temporary stay in these centres.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged upon the concerned officers to ensure proper cleanliness of the centres on a daily basis and ensure proper disposal of protective kits and other biomedical waste as per SOPs guidelines. The nodal officers were further asked to submit daily reports regarding the arrangements at CCC.
He also asked them to make sure that all the SOPs norms are followed in these centres to avoid any risk of infection.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh, CMO, Sanjeev Puri, Deputy CMO, Anees Altaf Nabi,DSEO, Bilal Mir, Deputy Director Employment,Block Development Officer Thanamandi,Mazhair Hussain Shah ,Tehsildar Thanamandi,Mehmood Khan, Dysp , Sajjad Khan, Dysp Zaheer ,Administrator OSC,Neetu Sharma, Legal Officer , Shivangi Kant,Project Officer DUDA,Kavita and other concerned.
