Call For Celebrating Eid With Simplicity To Contain Covid-19 Resurgence

Kupwara: DAK- Kupwara felicitates People on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Azha and advises them to celebrate Eid ul Azha with simplicity and austerity while observing precautionary measure and follow advisories issued by health experts so that they may stay safe against corona virus infection amid third wave.

Dr Ayjaz Ahmad Bhat President DAK -Kupwara Wing along with all members while extending the greetings, advised the people to follow the covid SOPs religiously as the violation of the same have disastrous consequences in the impending third Wave.

” It is imperative upon public not to throng the markets for Eid related shopping, and follow all the advisories issued to stay safe against the contagious disease, he added.”

Dr Ashaq Hussain Vice President DAK- Kupwara said that the essence of Eid ul Azha lies in celebrating it with utmost simplicity and austerity and praying to Almighty for the alleviation of the sufferings of the people across the world. It is also our religious duty to avoid any practices that might cause potential harm to others.

Dr Sheik Mohd Iqbal Senior Executive Member and Consultant Physician SDH Kupwara said that any practice that might put peoples’ lives in danger goes against our moral and religious ethics and teachings.The huge rush and gathering of people can cause overcrowding in small spaces and any urban or rural overcrowding can prove catastrophic.This inturn leads to spread of the disease and definitely crumbles the overstretched health care services.
