Day 6: Searches to Trace the Missing PhD Scholar while Trekking in Gangabal Kangan continues, Police, SDRF and Volunteers on Job.

Searches of youth who had gone missing while trekking in Gangabal Wangat Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has continued on the sixth consecutive day on Friday.

According to reports a group of six youths from district Srinagar has reached Naranag Kangan for picnic on Sunday 14 June and on the same day they proposed to visit Gangabal for tracking and when they returned back to Naranag they did not find one of their partner identified as Hilal Ahmad Dar(30) Son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar a Resident of Bemina Srinagar who was doing PhD missing after which they started searching everywhere,
But they could not be found him anywhere.

Reports further said that after which they informed Police station Kangan.

Police team started a search operation to trace the missing youth on the sixth consecutive day, but the missing youth was untraceable till yet.

District administration Ganderbal deputed SDRF team and group of professional trekkers in Naranag Kangan Ganderbal and also joined local volunteers to trace out a PhD Scholar who had gone missing on Sunday 14 June.

The relatives of the said youth said that they registered an missing report on the 15 June in police station Kangan.
