Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today released the first-ever short film on Corona awareness produced by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages sub-office Rajouri.
Dr Alamdar Adam cultural officer Rajouri/Poonch, while speaking on occasion highlighted the importance of this short film, he said that it was the need of the hour to produce these type of film keeping in view the COVID 19 threat which has consumed lakhs of lives around the world, the film displays how this corona infection spreads, the precautions we should take and how we should change our lifestyle after the relaxation given after two-month lockdown.
The message and awareness would be given to the masses through song and Drama by the Artists of Sarswati sangeet Kala Kendra Poonch a veteran theatre group of Peer Panchal headed by Mr Pardeep Khanna.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav appreciated the efforts of Dr Alamdar who took lead in producing the film on Coronavirus pandemic during the lockdown period and lauded the efforts of the cultural officer who arranged the Artists, writer Lyricist and cameraman to shoot the film in a short span of time.
DDC lauded the efforts of the entire team for their excellent performance and expressed hope that the film will definitely help in generating awareness among the masses
