Awantipora: A driver & his conductor were killed when their JCB machine was hit by a shooting stone near Wuyan area of Pampore on Monday evening.
Sources said that a shooting stone from nearby stone quarry hit JCB (L&T- Construction & mining equipment) machine in Wuyan area of Khrew in Pampore this evening, resulting in on the spot killing of a driver & his conductor.
They identified the deceased persons as Mohd Rafeeq Akhoon, S/O Ali Mohd Akhon, a resident of Adora Baramulla & Gh Hassan, resident of Bathnoor area of Tral.
An official has said that FIR no 32/2020 under relevant sections has been registered in Police station Khrew.
