36 Students Felicitated for Memorizing Holy Quran

Kupwara: One of the prominent seminaries in Kupwara, Kashif-ul-Uloom in Goose Kupwara on Sunday organized a programme titled “Istiqbal-i-Ramzan”.
The event was attended as guest of honour by top Islamic Scholar Mufti Sagheer Ahmad, Sheikh-ul- Hadees Jamia Markaz-ul- Ma’arif’ Bathindi Jammu, besides other prominent Islamic Scholars of the district.
The event started with the recitation of the Holy verses of Holy Quran followed by Naat-e-Shareef amid presence of a large gathering. People had come from far off places to attend the occasion.
Mufti Sagheer Ahmad in his inaugural speech thoroughly shed light on the theme (Ramadhan) and its significance.
“Allah has blessed us this Holy Month of Ramzan, which is just days away now. During this period, we should seek mercy and forgiveness and repent before Allah throughout “, he said.
“The world is facing various challenges these days and it is because we have left the righteous way which our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) asked us to follow”, he lamented.
“Mah-e-Ramzan is the head of all months and we should devote ourselves to worship keenly in this blessed month and provide for those who need our help”, Mufti Sagheer said.
36 students of the Institution were felicitated for memorization (Hifz) of Holy Quran.
Towards the culmination of the ceremony, Patron of Dar-ul-Uloom Goose, Qari Mohammad Danish extended his heartiest greetings to the people of the entire Kupwara district for making this event successful.
