Baramulla : Sopore youth among four were held in north Kashmir’s Uri in Baramulla district who were on their way to exfiltrate the Line of Control (LOC), claims Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday.
Official said, based on specific inputs three local youths and a guide were apprehended when they were on their way to exfiltrate the Line of Control (LOC) via Gohallan area of Uri.
He said, being a guide the youths were received by one Parvaiz Ahmed Hajam Son of Ghulam Mohi u Din Hajam a resident of Gohallan Uri at Boniyar in order to exfiltrate them to PoK via Gowhallan sector.
Youths according to an official were identified as Mohammad Shafi Hajam Son of Abdul Ahad Hajam, Reyaz Ahmad Bhat Son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat both the resident of Sheeri Mirhar of Baramulla and Yasir Ahmed Bhat Son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat a resident of Chatloora Sopore.
Incriminating material, sharp knives and torches were recovered and further investigation has being taken up.
