Forces Lay Siege To Sopore Area, Searches Going On

Sopore, 19 July : Forces on Sunday evening launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Reportedly a joint team of forces conducted searches in Bagh e Rehmat area of Sopore town late this evening and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
An official said following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of Army’s 22RR, Sopore Police and 179 BN CRPF launched search operation in the area.
Meanwhile searchs in the area were going on when filling this report.
It is pertinent to mention Three LeT militants were killed in 12-hour long gunfight at Reban Sopore last week.
