RAJOURI :- In order to facilitates the students in terms of teaching learning process amid lockdown, The Government Medical College Rajouri have launched online classes for MBBS 1st year.
The online classes commenced wef from 13th of March 2020
In a press note, medical college administration informed that almost all students have registered themselves in online classes, seminars and tutorials being offered by the faculty and the process of further registration is still going on.
This initiative has been taken in view of the lockdown call given by Hon’ble Prime Minister, management added.
In order to enable the students to remain engaged in studies without any wastage of their valuable time at their respective places while absolutely complying with the advisories and directions of Government and local Administration, the manegement added.
The enthusiastic involvement and response of the students, teachers and parents is a matter of great pleasure and satisfaction.
The press statement further reads that inspired by the dictum that in every challenge there is a hidden opportunity also which if availed timely and sensibly can do wonders, Principal along with faculty is leaving no stone unturned to facilitate the students of this hilly border belt with qualitative education by making best use of technology for this purpose.
This is pertinent to mention here that not only urban but rural students also are being benefitted from this mega academic initiative.
