On this auspicious occasion of world Labour day ( May 1st ), Senoir congress leader and District President congress Committe kupwara Haji Farooq Mir has expressed sincere gratitude towards the manforce of our nation, the backbone of our society whose sweat and blood is the base and foundation for the progress and development of any nation. Calendar Year 2020 in view of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has been excruciating for every section of the society including shopkeepers, farmers, daily wagers, barbers, Carpentar’s, contractual employee, Un employed youth, more perticularly the labour section.
In Jammu Kashmir hundreds and thousands of labourers working both in and outside the j&k for their livelihood have been facing immense difficulties during the prevailing, unavoidable lockdown conditions.
In this context , Farooq Mir urges the LG administration to assist and facilitate their repatriation to their respective locations so that they can meet their families and spend some good time with them to overcome their distressed mental and economical conditions.
