Handwara, 14 September 2020:
On the directions of Superintendent of Police Handwara *Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS*, Handwara Police continuing its efforts to strengthen Police- Public relationship organised police -public interactive meeting at Police Post *Langate*.
The meeting was chaired by IC *PP* Langate *Sub Inspector Mohsin Ahmad*
A large number of people including *traders Federation, prominent members of civil society, Sarpanchs, Panchs and Numberdars* of the area participated in the meeting.
The meeting was conveyed to hear the issues of Public and to make a strong bond between Police and Public.
In the meeting the participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments.. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. He also sought their co-operation in harmonizing Police -Public relationship.
The participants were also asked for their full co-operation in adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the police & civil administration from time to time in view of *Covid -19* pandemic to which they gave full assurance.
The participants also appreciated the work of *Handwara Police* during Covid19 Pandemic, timely action against *drug peddlers* and in addressing public grievence in a possible time.The meetings ended on a positive note.
