Handwara: Handwara Police recovered illegal timber in Langate area of North Kashmir’s Handwara town. Acting on specific information DO Police Post Langate Shahid Nazir raided the house of Fayaz Ah Lone,S/o Ab Ahad Lone, R/o Shalpora,Langate and recovered an illicit timber along with smuggler.
A case has been registered under the Indian Forest Act in Police post Langate against the timber smuggler and further investigation is going on.
Civil society hailed the role of DO Langate for protection of green gold and saving future damage of forest wealth while putting smuggler behind the bars.
