From last two days, Inside Kashmir has received enormous Phone calls from individuals quarantined in different places of Kupwara , who allege that their sample have been taken on 14 , 15 May but, unfortunately they have have not yet received results .
“I am surprised , I don’t know how to express my anger , our samples were taken on 14 May but not a single result has been declared on any document. We have been living under constant depression due to lack of knowledge about our lives “, said a student, who returned from Delhi and asked for anonymity .
Another student who has been put in Boys Higher Secondry School Kupwara turned Quarantine centre alleged that test samples which were taken on 17,18 may ,their reports have been received by Health Department Kupwara . But, their samples which were taken 2 days before are still no where to be found . ” Their is a confusion in Health Department Kupwara , we called CMO Kupwara and reported about this issue but she said ,’I have no information about it ‘. Who will provide us information now , if they are misplaced they should come clean and have courage to tell the truth . Calling administration and registering complaints is jus like ‘ beating the bush around_,”
When Inside Kashmir contacted concerns CMO, Dr Kausar Amin , she expressed her helplessness and said that she is trying her best to resolve this issue . ” Basically results of samples, which have not been received yet , were taken from multiple districts of Jammu division . Due to this , we are not able to trace out samples which were taken on 14th and 15th May . I have called different concerned CMOs and requested them to provide exact location of samples as soon as possible and have taken issue with my higher command . I am hopeful soon we will receive the results “, said , Dr Kausar
