Himachal Pradesh on Monday reported the state’s first death due to coronavirus. A 69-year-old Tibetan refugee, who died at a hospital in Tanda, had tested positive. He had returned from the US on March 15, officials said. With this, India’s death toll due to coronavirus rose to nine. Coronavirus deaths have now been reported in eight states and Union Territories.
