Sopore : Youth Forum Tarzoo Darnambal (YFTD) holds an presidential election, where the already sitting president Ishfaq Ahmed Dar was elected as the president of this organization for two years tenure.
The two candidates Ishfaq Ahmed and Mudasir Gull were in fray. Ishfaq according to the election board takes over the presidential seat with 29 out of 39 casted votes.
The organization also framed a body, Ishfaq Ahmed Dar will serve as the President, Mudasir Gull Vice-President, Aijaz Ahmed Untoo Secretary and Javaid Ahmed Bhat as Publicity Secretary.
Ishfaq while talking with the media, thanked the election board for conducting the election in a disciplined and proper way and the executive body for choosing him president.
He said that, main focus for next two years will be Youth in terms of Social evils, Overall development, Empowerment, Education and Health.
He thanked district administration, SSP Sopore, ARTO Baramulla, SHO Tarzoo for their support during tough times. “I hope they would extend their support in future as well”, Ishfaq added.
