Keran locals demand permission to go home

Inside Kashmir recieved call from a group of Keran locals ,who have been stranded in milyaal , for days , requesting for permission to go back home .

The group mainly consisting of students and daily wage workers are stuck in limbo as they tried to travel home in the morning of 29th March and were not allowed . Facing enormous problem in rent rooms ,located in Kupwara Town, they request concern Deputy Commissioner for evacuation .

” We don’t want Anything , we just want to return back to home in this fearful time . Back therein our rent rooms , we were out of food and daily essential materials after the lockdown was implemented . We took a rented cab to travel back Keran ,but just when were near to Keran Top , security forces stopped us and asked to return back “, said liyakat Ahmed Joo, over phone .
Liyakat went on and said that ,” We are presently staying at Milyaal, a village in the outskirt of Kupwara district . We request district administration to allow us to return home , our parents are worried about us . ”

On enquiry about there current situation , many of them told our reporter that ,deteriorating situation has mentally affected us ,’We want to be with our parents ,that is all we ask for’.
