Kupwara: Javid Mir Sarpanch of Dardpora C of Kupwara district today joined Peoples Conference in presence of Party Patron Sajad Lone and Former MLA Bashir Ahmad Dar.
Mir Javid, Sarpanch Dardpora C & first runner up from Reddi Chowkibal constituency in the recently held DDC elections along with few members joined PC
Interestingly, his rival in the pools was from people’s conference candidate namely Habibullah Beigh who won the Chowkibal seat with a small margin from him. There were allegations of him being the proxy of NC but he repeatedly declined such claim and would call himself Independent.
