Leopard attack leaves 22 sheep dead, four injured In Kunzer Baramulla

Baramulla: Twenty-two sheep have been killed in a leopard attack after it entered a cattle shed during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday at Kunzer village of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

Reports reaching said, that at least 22 sheep were injured while four others were injured in a leopard attack in Kunzer area of Baramulla in north Kashmir.

These sheep belonged to the Mehraj u Din Reshi a resident of the Rembalpora village of Kunzer, it added.

Meanwhile, villagers appealed to Wildlife officials to lay a trap and catch the leopard(s) so that such incidents do not happen in the future.

The villagers also appealed to the government to provide compensation to the owner who has lost the livestock.
