Lolab: With an aim to shape the minds of youngsters and present them with the opportunity to know the Armed Forces and the ultimate Sacrifices made by gallant soldiers for the Nation,a motivational movie on the Indian Army and it’s Challenges were screened at Higher Secondary School,Warno on the occassion of “International Youth Day” .
“These events are a prelude and part of the Independence Day Celebrations prior to 15 Aug 2021. All the necessary guidelines and COVID precautions were being ensured while the teachers also educated them to be more cautious and explain to their parents back home about COVID awareness and precautions,” said organiser
As per the statement issued to Inside Kashmir,The event at school commenced with a National Anthem followed by a motivational lecture “Know Your Army”by the Company Commander of Warno Camp.
Further, the Regimental Medical Officer of Army Camp,Gujjarpatti conducted a lecture covering this theme for International Youth day “Youth Food System”which was really enlightening to youth living in far flung areas of Lolab .
After the lecture,a motivational Indian Army video was screened to know about the Indian Army and ignite the spark inside them for the Nation.
A strength of 75 students & 15 teachers attended the lecture “Know Your Army” and 25 students and 3 teachers divided into 05 batches attended the lecture and witnessed the screening of motivational Indian Army video.
The students during the entire event shown keen interest and after the screening of motivational video students including both boys and girls on getting inspired from all the events conveyed that they are proud of Indian Army and wanted to join the Army after the completion of their studies.
Similar events on the theme to inculcate National integration and patriotism are planned in coming days including a grand event on 15 Aug 2021 to mark the event in a grandeur fashion.(IK)
