Baramulla, 28 April : Baramulla Administration declared Malpora village of Tehsil Narwav as “Red zone” as wariness measure to combat the spread of Coronavirus (Covid19) and for the safety of human lives, this step has been taken as the area reported 5 more positive case on Monday only.
An order copy which lies with the Inside Kashmir reads that the village Malpora has been declared as red zone and there shall be no inward or outward movement of any person(s) from this village and people shall stat indoors as there will be complete lockdown in the said village.
Further the surrounding villages of Red zone (Malpora) namely Heewan, Bulbulabad, Naradhari, Taripora, Audoora, Gulistan Pehliharan and Fatehgarh are declared as Buffer zones and the inhabitants of these villages shall strictly restrict their movement and shall not allow anyone to visit their homes during restrictions.
There will be no movement of any individual into and out in the village but in case of emergency people can contact BDO Sheeri Narwav (7006453119) and AEO Sheeri (7006291747) who shall facilitate their movement or address their grievances.
BDO Sheeri Narwav shall function as administrator for village Malpora (Red Zone) and areas/villages falling within Buffer Zones and Agriculture Extension Officer, (Agriculture Department) Sheeri (7006291747) shall function as Magistrate for Red Zone Malpora and Buffer Zone villages.

Pertinent to mention Baramulla district has recorded 67 positive cases including 25 recovered ones and 3 deceased till 27 April.
