Tasaduq Hussain was declared as Man of The Tournament

Handwara : The grand finale of the Syed Memorial Cricket tournament was played today at High School Ground Hangha Mawer, between Media Xi Handwara and BCC Mawer, where Media Xi Handwara beat BCC Mawer by 4 wickets in a nail-biting match.
After winning the toss BCC Mawer decided to bat first and they only managed to score 131in allotted overs, from the Media side Aatif Qayoom took three important wickets, Lateef Dar took 2 wickets, Shahid Nazir and Price Ahmad took two wickets equally.
In front of shahid Nazir’s Magical spell, the Batemans of BCC Mawer collapsed and none of the Batman from their side was able to understand the magic bowling of Shahid- he gave only 7 runs in two overs.
While chasing the target Media Xi lost the first wickets in the 2nd over of the game and later Arif Dar and Lateef Dar took a partnership of 56 runs which helped the media Xi to win the final match.
The fast bowlers of BCC Mawer didn’t work in front of the media Xi Bateman and in the last two overs media Xi were need 11 runs in 12 balls, Tasaduq Hussain played two brilliant shots in 15th over of the game and in the last over of the game media Xi were need 4 runs and Danish Bhat of Media Xi after missing the first two consecutive balls of the over he played a brilliant winning shot.
Arif Dar of Media Xi was later declared Man of the match for his brilliant innings and he scored 56 runs while Tasaduq Hussain of Media Xi was declared Man of the series for all-around performance and helped the team to win the finale with amazing finish.
The winners were awarded trophies and Cricket kits and Runners up BCC Mawer was also awarded with trophies.
Meanwhile, the BCC team was considered favorite for this tournament.
The match was witnessed by hundreds of spectators.
Tasaduq Hussain was declared as Man of The Tournament for all-around performance and helped the team to win the finale with amazing finish.
