Baramulla, 20 July : Locals at Tangmarg area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday attacked a medical team on Covid duty in the area.
Reports reached to Inside Kashmir said, that locals from Agumuna area in Tangmarg attacked the medical staff with stones when they had went to the area for covid sampling.
Official while confirming the incident said, locals of Agumuna area in Kunzer attacked the team who had went there for sampling.
“It is unfortunate that Doctors and medical teams who are working hard to serve people, leaving their families behind, are being attacked by the same people,” Official added while expressing concern.
Meanwhile matter has been taken into the notice of concerned police and investigation has been taken up.
