J&K Dharmarth Trust announced that the annual festival of Mela Kheer Bhawani (Maharagnya Bhagwati) scheduled on 30th May this year here at Tulmullah area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district cancelled amid lockdown and ongoing threat of corona virus.
According to reports that J&K Darmarth trust made it clear that the reason for cancelling of annual festival is continuous increase in corona virus cases in the country.
Kashmir pandits from different parts of the country on every year thronged Tulmulla Ganderbal to celebrated their annual festival with great enthusiasm.
Every year on this festival The temple was witnessed a huge gathering of devotees Kashmiri Pandits, who have coming from across the country,but this year due to continuing scare of COVID-19 the trust have cancelled the program due to the non-gathering of people in the festival.
