Sopore: A 5-year old girl drowned in Nallah at the Ningli area of Sopore in north Kashmir on Saturday late evening.
Reports reaching to Inside Kashmir said that a 5-year old girl identified as Rabiya Shabir daughter of Shabir Ahmed of Ningli Sopore slipped in the Nallah @ Khrusu and drowned.
However, a team of police reached the spot and with the help of locals started a search operation to retrieve the body.
Meanwhile, a Police officer while confirming the incident said, a rescue team has been sent to the area to trace the body.
