Police in Bla Welcome Medicos With Flowers as tribute to frontline workers

Baramulla 30 April: In north Kashmir’s Baramulla district heart-warming scenes were witnessed on Friday when police officers and personnel greeted doctors with flower bouquets as a tribute to frontline workers fighting amid coronavirus pandemic outbreak.

The 84-hour lockdown came in force last evening at 7.Pm in 11 districts of Jammu and Kashmir and today police officers at Mirgund Baramulla queued up outside their station holding flowers in hands and welcomed doctors with flowers, as they drove towards hospitals to attend duties.

Similar scenes were witnessed at Kunzar and tamgmarg of Baramulla district, Where police officers presented flower bouquets ‘as a goodwill gesture’ to medical staff.

Meanwhile Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on Thursday directed all police units to facilitate hassle-free movement of doctors, health workers, and essential services during the lockdown period.
