Bandipora,07 Sep: Bandipora Police continuing its efforts to strengthen police- public relationship organised a police -public interactive meeting at Sumbal while following social distancing norms and other COVID-19 protocols.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora Sh Rahul Malik-IPS, accompanied by ASP Bandipora, SDPO Sumbal & SHO P/S Sumbal.
A large number of people from Sumbal including traders Federation, prominent members of civil society participated in the meeting.
The participants raised various issues during the meeting.The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.He also sought their co-operation in harmonizing police -public relationship.
The participants also assured their full co-operation in adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the police & civil administration from time to time in view of Covid -19 pandemic.The meeting ended on a positive note.
