First of all, I would like to say hats off to the vision of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Who gave a wonderful idea to direct such an outclass series and I am amazed by the expertise of show’s creator Mehmet Bozdagh in assembling the Pearl’s of ottoman history in the form Resurrection Ertugrul.Indeed! Great Efforts did by the whole crew of series, especially the scriptwriters & the actors. This season is the masterpiece of this century against Islamaphobia which has breathed new life and fire of resurrection into the Muslim world. This play is so beautifully directed that it captivates its viewers like an addiction.These series doesn’t have any single element of obscenity or pornography which is the most striking feature of this play. The traditions, culture, social customs, Spirtuality(Sufism) and reflection of Islam are woven like neckless of pearls in this play.Ertugrul’s bravery, honesty, masterful swordsmanship, suave, wisdom, foresight and vitality is the reason for its centre of attention. Resurrection is incredible and riveting. The historical aspects are very vivid and a good portrait of the evils of the Crusaders, Templars and Barbarians.As far as the acting of Engin Altin is concerned, he has exceptionally portrayed the lead protagonist. Sword-fighting & Horse-riding have done in such a phenomenal way that everyone is enchanted and fascinated by it. The other actors are also magnificent and played their role in an outstanding way.
> It’s the prime responsibility of the viewers to groom their personality in the light of Resurrection Ertugrul and promote this series to every person of their society as insha’Allah this series will suffice the real need of resurrection once again in the Muslim Ummah.
This series has given me a deep appreciation of the culture and Muslim faith around which it is based and the trials and tribulations that tribes and people of that time period in history endured. I have felt the pain, the disgust of deceit and corruption in unjust systems perpetrated by power-hungry individuals, the joy in triumphs, the grace and determination of always battling for a much higher power that gave them the strength and commitment to endure. Thank you to the magnificent team of people who have made this series possible, to everyone that was part of it both in front of the cameras and behind the scenes, for the gift of their talents to be able to share this with the rest of the world and for making me experience everything in the storytelling! This series has awakened my being to a level I have never experienced before and opened the door to more learning. I have never been one for binge-watching…EVER…till now! Never watched anything remotely similar. There is a purpose in why and how things happen that have reinforced my own basic spiritual beliefs and am overwhelmed by the many messages that I have found throughout every episode. I am of an ethic group far from the region of where this history originates and totally ignorant until now of some of its customs and beliefs. So grateful I came across this series on telegram and Facebook and my friend shared it to my phone and am now watching all seasons. It has allowed me to witness the devotion of a mighty people in its purest form for the first time in a way I least expected and taken aback by its authenticity on film. The series had a remarkable effect inspiring me to research the history of the Kayis, Qiniqs and Dordugas among other tribes. I am also doing a refresher on the Byzantine Empire as a result. I enjoyed the valour of Ertugrul and his three trusty Alps, such loyalty. I am amazed by the expertise of the show’s creator Mehmet Bozdag in assembling so many moving parts. The supporting role of the women weaves the necessary element of producing goods for their economy with such grace and femininity. I am surprised that Hayme that lasted so long considering the stress she has endured. Ertugrul, Turgut, Selcan, Wild Demir, Halime, Bamsi and Dogan are my favourites. Suleman Shah brought balance but he needed some of Ertugrul’s insight, in fact, they all did. Ertugrul’s masterful swordsmanship, suave, wisdom, foresight and vitality is the reason I watched 179 episodes nothing else for a month. I looked forward to seeing him every day. The death of some characters made me tearful, having grown attached like family. In fact, the series became my family. I would love to visit that old country to contrast the present day with those medieval times. Because of this show, I’m reading history books again. Thank you for a magnificent presentation. When may I see more of the show. I am rating it ‘outstanding’ so far.If you like history and action with lots of battles this show is amazing. It takes place before the Ottoman Empire when the Mongols were taking over, the crusaders were pursuing their own agenda and the Turks were trying to find a place to settle while Ertugrul aided their sultan. It’s all subtitles but well worth it.Ertugrul and his 3 Alps were great warriors, loved watching the 4 of them defeat 30 enemies.
The Turkish characters are of the Muslim faith and there are some interesting similarities with their stories like Noah and the flood that I found intriguing.I think this is one of the better shows I’ve watched, yes there’s lots of violence, but it was war and quite frankly lots of manipulative evil little weasels who you find yourself hoping they get their due.
Characters are based on real-life people and events. The last Of Ertugruls descendants recently passed (also named Ertugrul) ironically having been smuggled out of the castle in Turkey to save his life as he was in line to become sultan decades ago. He lived in New York. The real Turkot lived to age 125 in real life and died in a battle with his axe In hand.I generally don’t like any film or drama where I have to read the subtitles to understand what is going on. This series is an exception. I was encouraged to watch it, friends. I started watching the 1st episode and stopped three times until one day I decided to sit down and watch the whole episode. I have finished now and all I can say is, it is nothing less than magnificent. I can write pages on the various characters in the series. All have done a tremendous job in bringing to life a period in history that we had all forgotten. My reason for loving the series is the facts that are portrayed about the Muslim families and what was going on in this region at the time. The respect these people gave their elders is still the norm within respectable Muslim families and countries. Would highly recommend anyone who wishes to watch something interesting and useful. Watch it! You will learn a lot.
