HANDWRA:Over Eleven hundrend
rupees were realized from people for not. wearing masks and violation of lockdown in Langate town. On Thursday A team led by Naib Tehsildar Langate along with Revenue Officials & Duty Magistrates fined Rs 1100 from viloters on account of Violating the order of Mask wearing and lockdown restriction in Langate Market.
Earlier the lockdown has been imposed District administration Kupwara and directed all magistrates to act tough against lockdown violators. Officials said that those who were fined were found without face masks in the public places.
“Prevention is must and many people were not abiding by the norms as required,” they said
The Langate administration has urged people to stay inside and to follow SOP.
