Kupwara, June 24: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Dr. Bilal Mohiddin today visited various areas of Tangdar and Teetwal blocks and inspected ongoing work of Secure Shelter Sheds in the sub division.
During the visit, SDM inspected construction of 68 community bunkers in Budwan, Shamspora, Gomal, Chamkote Kandi and some villages of Teetwal block each Shelter Shed costs Rs.9.3 lakh. It is pertinent to mention here that sanction for construction of 120 shelter sheds in Karnah sub division have been given by District Administration Kupwara.
On the occasion, the SDM directed the concerned executing agency to speed up the pace of construction work.
At Budwan the SDM held a public darbar, where people put forth their issues and demands including power & water supply, additional installation of secure shelter sheds etc. The SDM heard them patiently and assured them for earlier resolution.
Engineers of R&B, SHO Karnah, TIO Karnah and BDC chairman accompanied the SDM.
